Interlude 1 – Sheena Altan

In XX police department…

Sergeant: “Captain, we have finally managed to catch the serial killer who was murdering rapists!”

Captain: “Oh? Those are some good news for a change! Who is he?”

Sergeant: “Actually, sir, it’s a she.”

Captain: “It doesn’t matter, how did she get caught?”

Sergeant: “She didn’t. She actually gave herself up and willingly confessed all her crimes.”

Captain: “That’s strange, why would she do that when she hadn’t gotten caught?”

Sergeant: “Her story is a little sick. Two years ago she was raped, and that traumatized her. Ever since then she would target rapists, study them, become their ideal victim and, when they tried to assault her, she would kill them. But, it seems like in her last piece of art, she killed an innocent man who knew her and tried to help her while she was being assaulted. Unfortunately, after snapping into a psycho-mode she killed him without realizing who he was, so, after regaining her sanity and realizing she had killed her acquaintance, she gave herself up and confessed. She couldn’t deal with the guilt."

Captain: “Phew! That’s quite the story! It’d make a good movie, a tragedy, of course… Well, let’s go see her.”

After entering the ward…

Captain: “Who was the moron who let her keep her belt inside the cell?!”

Officer: “Well, she didn’t look suicidal…”

Captain: “Idiot! Do you know how much paperwork I’ll have to do because of this?”

Officer: “Sorry, sir.”

Captain: “Well, at least this means that the case of the serial murders of rapists is closed.”

Sergeant: “She left a note before hanging herself, sir.”

Captain: “What does it say?”

Sergeant: “Just two words: Sorry, Morgan.”
